Termination
of Parental Rights/Failure to Rehabilitate
In this per curiam opinion, the appellate court affirmed
the trial court’s termination of parental rights decision, holding
that there was ample evidence in the record to support the findings
that the respondent mother had failed to rehabilitate and that termination
of parental rights was in the children’s best interests. The court
rejected the respondent’s argument that the trial court failed to
credit her progress with certain required services, noting that
the trial record supported a conclusion that the parent had failed
to make meaningful progress towards being able to parent her children.
