ORDER
OF TEMPORARY CUSTODY. In this appeal of an Order of Temporary Custody
decision, the appellate court affirmed the trial court’s determination
that the children were in imminent risk of harm as a result of their
mother’s history of untreated mental health problems, her recent
threats to hurt herself and others while in the presence of her
children, and her and her spouse’s denial of the gravity of these
developments. The court rejected the mother’s contention that the
trial court inappropriately evaluated the evidence within the “predictive
neglect” framework, and the court held that the trial record contained
ample evidence of the clear and imminent threat to the children’s
safety and well being.
